Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As you may have heard in recent news, LA County Officials updated their guidelines on 12/19 allowing places of worship to now hold services indoors, provided that restrictions such as strict social distancing and mask wearing are enforced (though outdoor and remote services are strongly preferred). The church leadership team and board is currently in discussions about whether or not to resume in-person worship services, and we will let you know as soon as a timeline is established.

In the meantime, we will continue to hold our leadership team and board as they seek the Lord’s wisdom to discern how to best serve the body of Christ during this challenging time.

During times of uncertainty, we can be more susceptible to be overcome by feelings of anxiety, worry, fear, and hopelessness. Yes as believers of Christ, we can hold onto the One True God who is above all things.

It is our hope that during this time when we are unable to meet together physically in one place, we can join together in spirit and in unity through prayer and seeking the Lord in His Word. We encourage all of you to also think creatively of ways to connect with one another under these circumstances. Let us lift each other up and continue to worship the Lord together. Let us not let this situation overwhelm us, but let it be a testimony of our faith in Christ Jesus.

We will continue to be in contact with everyone as the situation changes. Feel free to contact any of the leadership if you are in need of support and prayer.

Let us remember the Lord’s promises:

“My peace I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let us be fearful.” – John 14:27

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

Our God is with us and He is sovereign. May our hearts hold onto His Words and bring us peace and assurance.

God be with you!
